Second Day of Marmomac Brazil Reinforces Industry Maturity and Expands National and International Connections

The fair advances as a strategic platform for the sector, showing that natural stone is no longer seen merely as a raw material but assumes a central role in architecture, design, and sensory experience.

With consistent growth and an increasingly strong international presence, Marmomac Brazil reaffirms its positioning as a strategic platform for those seeking inspiration, trends, networking, and innovation — pillars that defined the intense pace of the second day at the Anhembi District.

Inspiration, trends, networking, and technology. These were the words most frequently repeated by exhibitors throughout the second day of Marmomac Brazil 2026. The fair began last Tuesday, February 24, and ends today, February 26, at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, bringing together industry, architecture, mining, technology, and national and international buyers in an environment where business and concept move forward together.

“We are very happy to reach our second edition already consolidated and recognized as a strategic connection platform among the main national and international players in the sector,” says Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze, the company organizing the event and part of Italy’s Veronafiere Group.

If the first day brought expectations, the second confirmed them: Marmomac Brazil has matured. Booths showcased immersive experiences that tell the story of natural stone — its origin, its transformation, and its application. For Márcio J. Migliavacca, CEO of Rexfort, the company’s debut exceeded expectations. “We recorded 50 highly qualified visits on the very first day, a number very close to what we see at well-established fairs such as Cachoeiro Stone Fair. Around 30% of this audience is completely new to our database, which is rare for a company that has been working with CRM for years,” he says.

The company presented two next-generation bridge saws developed in partnership with Italy’s AMV Design and noticed a clear shift in brand perception. “The feedback was direct: clients recognized that Rexfort has entered another level. We are building a strong pipeline, with real expectations of closing deals during the fair and within the following 30 days,” Migliavacca highlights.

The hybrid presence of national and international buyers also drew attention. According to exhibitors, there was a balance between Brazilian audiences and visitors from Latin America, Europe, and the United States — an indicator of the global positioning the event is achieving.

Stone as Concept and Experience

Pemagran highlighted the conceptual character of this edition. According to Mariana Sandrini, the company’s Marketing and New Business Manager, the fair is now consolidated in the industry calendar. “We welcomed national and international clients, as well as a very interesting audience of architects who need to experience stone up close. Booths are presenting much more than slabs — they are bringing the story behind the stone. We are attentive to trends and presenting our materials in different formats,” she explains.

Grupo Qualitá, globally recognized for importing and exporting natural stones, presented its flagship product — quartzite — incorporating the concept of the specifier in a booth inspired by Alice in Wonderland, with elements referencing the iconic story. Brasigran transformed its booth into an immersive experience, applying natural stone on walls and floors to create a scenic quarry that highlights the beauty of materials and invites visitors to interact with the surfaces.

Reflection on time and the origin of stone inspired Granos: outside the booth, a large “earth box” finished in rammed earth invites the audience to step inside and discover what the earth has produced over thousands of years.

Terlos presented the materials Velare Duo, Velare Cristal, and Velare Grigio applied on floors and walls. “The proposal,” says Lucas Brunoro, “is to allow architects and specifiers to visualize, in practice, the finishing possibilities.”

MGA brought to the event a green quartzite from Bahia, extracted from its own quarry, along with a sculpted table shaped like a tablecloth — a demonstration of aesthetic boldness. The company, which celebrates 30 years, reinforces its proposal of working exotic materials with sophistication.

Content, Connections, and Activations That Marked the Day

The second day was also marked by activations and experiences that expanded the dialogue between industry, design, and lifestyle. Naturale welcomed former football player Cafu in a booth inspired by the FIFA World Cup. “Here I feel at home,” the athlete joked, attracting visitors and reinforcing the connection between Brazilian identity and natural materials.

Margramar promoted a live cooking session with chef Fogaça in the experience “From Raw to Refined,” connecting gastronomy and natural stone in a sensory narrative. “I’m seeing the fair grow more and more, and I feel proud,” said the chef.

At the Content Arena, the winner of the Archa/Pro Award was announced. Victor Augusto, originally from Mossoró and based in Fortaleza, celebrated the achievement among more than 300 applicants and four finalists. “I’m very happy. It’s an honor,” he said. The award includes participation at Marmomac in Italy — expanding the international exchange of talent.
